Problem solving
Tony KW-31 is a smartwatch for kids with many different useful features. You can always contact your child using your smartphone. There is only one large button on the smartwatch, so it is very easy to operate. However, it is not easy to figure out their settings with just one short instruction. Let's do it step by step and without any extra tricks.
WARNING: Never use a power source with a boost charging function, as this will damage the smartwatch.
The smartwatch is charged at the factory, but while it was waiting for you at the store's warehouse, its battery has already been discharged. Turn on the smartwatch to check the charge. To do this, press and hold the big button for 3 seconds. The smartwatch will turn on and you will see in the upper right corner of the screen a battery indicator, like a battery. If only one red line is visible on the indicator, then the charge of your smartwatch is running out, and it needs to be charged urgently.
To do this, open the rubber plug on the smartwatch case…
...and plug the smaller end of the USB cable into the USB socket. Connect the larger connector to a charger or a USB connector on your computer.
Depending on how low the battery is, it may take 1-2 hours to fully charge the smartwatch. Once the battery is fully charged, the battery indicator will show 4 green bars.
WARNING: Some SIM cards are sold without credit, so make sure to top up your account before inserting the SIM card into your smartwatch. Also, be sure to activate your SIM card. Some operators activate the SIM card after the first call to any number. Usually, the way to activate the SIM card is written on the packaging of the starter pack.
Let's check if we did everything right. Turn on the smartwatch with the big button and tap the screen to switch from the screensaver to the main screen of the watch. If in the upper left corner of the smartwatch screen you see a mobile signal strength indicator of four or three bars, then the SIM card is installed and working correctly.
You will see the Dad's phone number screen. It must be filled in. To do this, touch the screen with your finger and you will be taken to the phone number editing screen.
Enter the number using the numeric keypad on the screen. To access numbers that are not visible on the screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. If you made a mistake, erase the wrong numbers with the red button with a white arrow and a cancel symbol on it. After entering the number, click on the green button with the "done" mark.
WARNING: In some cases, operators require you to enter a phone number with a "+" and a country code, as well as add various letters and symbols. To access them, you need to click on the orange button with the numbers "123". You will be sequentially taken to the screens with the symbols "# + -" and the letters "ABC". To access hidden symbols and letters that do not fit on the smart watch screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. To change the case of letters (lowercase or uppercase), press the blue button with an up-arrow.
The smart watch memory is designed for 10 phone numbers, each has its own designation: Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Grandma, Brother, Sister, Uncle, Auntie, Friend 1 and Friend 2. To scroll through the numbers, swipe with your finger across the smartwatch screen from right to left.
If you want to change an already stored number, open the phone book, select the required number screen and press it for at least three seconds. You will see a confirmation prompt "Delete?" If you click on the "Yes" button, you will be taken to the number editing screen. There it can be changed or deleted.
There is another way to make a call from a smartwatch to a smartphone. To do this, find in the smartwatch menu the screen "Dial". Click on this screen and you will see a keyboard. You can dial the number with your finger directly on this keyboard. If you made a mistake in dialing the number, press the red button with the image of the cancel symbol. If the number is dialed correctly, press the button with the handset icon. Immediately after that, the smartwatch will start making a call to the selected phone number. If the subscriber did not pick up the phone or dropped the call, the message "Unable to connect" will appear on the smartwatch screen.
To view an SMS message, select it by clicking on its line on the screen, and then click on the "View" button. If the list of messages is long and does not fit on the screen, you can rewind it by swiping with your finger up and down the screen. If you are mistaken and want to return to the SMS-messages menu, click on the "Back" button.
The smart watch memory is designed for 50 SMS-messages. After receiving 50 SMS messages, new messages will not arrive until the old ones are deleted. After viewing the SMS, you can delete it so as not to overload the smartwatch' memory. To do this, click on the "Settings" button, and then click on the "Select" button and on the "Delete" button.
In addition, you can delete all messages from the smartwatch memory at once. To do this, in the SMS-messages menu, select line 2 "Delete messages". Then click on the "Ok" button.
You will see a confirmation message “Delete all?”. If you really want to delete all messages, click on the "Yes" button. If you are mistaken, click on the "No" button.
Then enter the smartwatch menu and find the "Camera" screen there. Click on this screen and you will see an image of the scene that is in front of the smartwatch lens. The lens is located directly above the smartwatch screen. To take a photo, you need to click on the camera image in the center of the bottom of the smart watch screen. If you do not want to take pictures, click on the "Back" button.
To configure the smartwatch camera, click on the "Options" button. There are two lines available in the options menu. The "Photos" line opens the photo album.
The line "Image settings" allows you to select the quality of photos: low, normal or good. For best results, choose a good quality.
You can view all the photos you have taken and other images recorded on the microSD card in the album. To do this, open the "Album" screen in the smartwatch menu and view its contents. You can scroll through the photos by swiping your finger across the screen, and to exit the viewing mode, press the "Back" button.
For playback settings, click on the list icon in the lower left corner of the screen. There you can update the playlist if you have recorded new audio files, and also select a playlist.
On the “Edit” alarm schedule screen, select the status: “on” or “off”. Set the alarm time. To do this, click on the line under the word "Time" and select the required time by swiping your finger across the screen from top to bottom. After choosing the time, press the "OK" button to confirm.
To set a repeating alarm, click on the "Repeat" button and select one of three options: "Once", "Everyday" or "Custom".
The calendar lets you know the current date. The stopwatch allows you to measure the time of an event with an accuracy of one hundredth of a second. To start the stopwatch, click on the green button on the right with the Start icon. To reset the stopwatch, click on the red button on the left with the "Return" icon.
The timer allows you to start a countdown for a period of 59 minutes 59 seconds to 1 second. To set the period, click on the purple dial button on the left. Then set the required period in minutes (scale on the left) and seconds (scale on the right). After that click on the "Ok" button.
File manager allows you to manage files in the phone memory and on the microSD memory card. To do this, select the type of memory, click on the "Options" button and then select the necessary actions: open or delete the file.
To select a language, click on the "Language" button, and then select the required language from the list and click on the "OK" button.
Click on the “Time and Date” button to configure these settings in your smartwatch. Set the time in hours (left) and minutes (right) by swiping your finger from top to bottom. Then choose a date. After installation, in both cases, click "OK".
Click on the "Time Format" button to set the 12 or 24 hour time format. In the "Calllogs" you can view the list of missed, dialled and received calls. You can also turn silent profile on or off.
Before installing the SIM card, you need to turn off the smartwatch. This means that the SIM card can only be inserted when the smartwatch is off. To turn off the watch, press the large button for at least 5 seconds or simply remove the battery.
Step one: unpack your smartwatch and charge the battery
After opening the box, you will find not only the smartwatch, but also the USB charging cable. WARNING: Be careful not to lose the USB cable from the smartwatch box, as some other cables of this type may not fit the smartwatch and you may not be able to charge them. Through the USB connector, the smartwatch can be charged from a computer, laptop, charger, car or power adapter.

Step two: get your SIM card ready for use
After the smartwatch is charged, insert the SIM card into it. But before that, the SIM card must be prepared. The fact is that a blocking PIN code can be installed on the SIM card, which is usually typed from the smartphone keypad, but there is no keypad on the children's watch, so the PIN code request could be disabled. In addition, the SIM card needs to be activated and topped up. To do this, install the smartwatch SIM card into your smartphone first and go to its settings. Then open the tabs in sequence: Settings -> Biometrics and Security -> Other security settings -> Set up SIM-card lock. And turn off the switch “Lock SIM card”. WARNING: In different smartphone models, the path to access the SIM card lock may differ from the specified one. In this case, you can find it yourself by typing "PIN-code" in the "Search settings" field (next to the magnifying glass pictogram).

Step three: insert the SIM card into the smartwatch
Now insert the SIM card into the smart watch. To do this, first turn them off with the big button. Then open the back cover of your smart watch. Find a small slot on the back cover in the corner. Insert your fingernail or the edge of a knife into it and carefully lift the cover. Remove the battery. Then slide and lift the cover of the SIM card container and insert the SIM card as shown on the photo. WARNING: Carefully release the metal plate retainer. To do this, slide the plate towards the wall: then it will easily open. Then insert the SIM card with the beveled corner exactly as shown on the photo, cover it with a metal plate and slide the plate towards the center to fix it. Do not use excessive force when doing this, as the fastening mechanics may break. Then replace the battery and close the cover of the smart watch case.

Step four: fill the phone book
In order to call someone, you first need to write down the phone numbers of your kid's relatives and friends in the smartwatch's memory. To open the phone book, slide your finger across the screen from bottom to top. You will see a screen that says “Contacts". Tap it with your finger and the book will open.

Step five: make a call from your smartwatch to your smartphone
In order to make a call from a smartwatch to a smartphone, you need to open the phone book “Contacts”, select the screen with the desired number and shortly press on it. Immediately after that, the smartwatch will start making a call to the selected phone number. If the subscriber did not pick up the phone or dropped the call, the message "Unable to connect" appears on the watch screen.

Step six: read SMS messages on your smartwatch
In order to read SMS messages, you need to find the "SMS" screen in the smartwatch menu. Click on this screen and you will see the SMS messages menu. Let's consider its elements. Click on line 1 "Inbox" to view the list of incoming SMS messages.

Step seven: take a photo
The smartwatch camera allows you to take photos and save them to the memory card. To do this, you first need to purchase a microSD memory card and install it into the slot inside the smartwatch case, to the right of the SIM card slot.

Step eight: listen to music on your smartwatch
The smart watch has an audio file player. WARNING: to listen to music on your smartwatch, you need to record files in mp3 format to a microSD card. Do this before you install it into the smartwatch case. To listen to the recorded music, find the "Player" screen in the smartwatch menu, click on it, and you will be taken to the playlist. Select an audio file and click on it. A screen with player control buttons will open. Adjust the playback volume using the "+" and "-“ buttons. To play the audio file, click on the "Start" button. To play the previous or next files, press the Forward and Back buttons.

Step nine: record on a voice recorder
The smartwatch dictaphone allows you to make audio recordings to a microSD card. Tap the ‘Record” screen and then tap the Record button. After finishing recording, click on the Play button.
Step ten: use the calculator
The smartwatch calculator allows you to do simple calculations. To start, click on the "Calculator" screen. Dial numbers from the numeric keypad on the screen. The calculator allows you to perform four arithmetic operations: addition, multiplication, subtraction and division. To clear the field with the calculation, click on the "Reset" button. To exit the calculator, click on the "Back" button.

Step eleven: set your alarm
Smartwatch alarm allows you to set an alarm at a specific time of a selected day. Tap on the "Alarm" screen to start. Click on one of the three lines of the alarm schedule.

Step twelve: use a calendar, stopwatch, timer and guide

Step thirteen: play games
The smartwatch has seven games installed. To access games, tap the “Games” screen and select one of seven games by swiping your finger across the screen.

In the "Settings" section of the smartwatch menu, you can select the language of the smartwatch interface, set the time and date, view the message log (Calllog) and configure Silent Profile.

Problem solving
The smartwatch is not charging
Check if you are charging the smartwatch with the USB cable that came with the watch. Try not to lose the USB cable from the watch box, because some other cables, even of this type, may not fit the watch and you will not be able to charge them. Never charge the smartwatch from power sources with a boost charging function, as this will damage the smartwatch. No network signal
Check if the SIM card is securely and correctly inserted. It should be installed this way. Sometimes even a properly inserted SIM card is not detected for hours. In this case, you need to correct its location on the contacts with your finger and restart the watch again. In some cases, it is necessary to correct the SIM card and reboot the smartwatch several times until the network is found. Try also wiping the SIM card contacts with a soft cloth.
